How to let friends find your new email address without exposing yourself to unwanted email

The site allows people who remember your old email address but who do not know your new address to send you a note (typically requesting your new address!). For this to work, you go to the site and enter your old and new email addresses. When someone else goes to the site, enters your old email address, and sends you a note, the site sends the note to your new address (but does not reveal the new address to the sender). It also does not reveal whether you have registered with the site, so if you choose not to respond, it will not be taken as a slight by the sender.
